Would like some help to learn to marbleize wood

Hello, I would like get a lesson (or 2) on how to marbleize wood. Or if you have a another decorative painting specialty, I would like to try that too! I watched many Utube videos and attempted my first piece which was not terribly successful. I think I could use some expertise :)
