Did you know that invasive vines like English ivy can cause premature decline and death of even large mature trees? I'm a founder and volunteer with NRV Tree Rescuers and have removed English ivy from many trees, including this one. I will clear the ivy at the base of the tree and let it die back in the canopy, which minimizes damage to the tree.
