If you like the idea of quilting but aren't sure how, please consider a lesson or two in how to design and sew a quilt. You can sew a quilt either by hand or on a machine, and you have your choice of many possible patterns or designs. I have a few sample lap quilts and other miniature quilts to show and even have extra cotton fabric scraps in a variety of colors on hand to give away. My Pennsylvania Dutch grandmother taught me how to sew and quilt as a child, and it's a fun tradition to learn and pass on.
