Hi! I have a lovely sky blue lambswool sweater that used to be my grandmothers. I think the color is beautiful, and the sweater fits me well. However, i am a bit of a pea princess regarding the itchy crew neck collar, and it makes me wear the sweater less than i would like to. Is someone able to alter the sweater so that the tight crew neck is cut away, maybe into a wider boatneck shape, and then that raw edge is knit or croched onto with a hem/cuff thing (sorry don't know knitter terminology) made of a softer wool? I would gladly pay for the wool yarn used, but i imagine it could be done with a small scrap amount also. thank you so much!
